Extension - Paediatric Episode Timepoint

FHIR Extension for a list of specific FHIR Resources that identifies an episodic time point that is used to direct data values to different DIGs in BadgerNet for Paediatric Care Episodes.

Name (proposed): workflow-BNet-Child-PaediatricEpisodeTimePoint

Can be used as an extension to the following resources:

• Observation

• Procedure

• Condition

• (possibly other, like medication administration - anything that has a required reference time)

This would be optional (not mandatory) for each of these Resources. If not provided, then the business logic for input processing would assume a “during stay” value.

The extension is a simple single-choice value set that is unique to BadgerNet Spine. Options are:

• atBirth - Represents a data item associated with the time of birth.

• atAdmission - Represents a data item associated with the time of admission to the hospital neonatal/picu/phdu unit.

• duringStay - Represents a data item associated with data that occurs after admission and before discharge.

• atDischarge - Represents a data item associated with the time of admission to the hospital neonatal/picu/phdu unit.
